Nathan

Nathan was born on the 18 th of April, 1993.

His full name is Nathan James Sykes.

Nathan was born and grew up in Gloucester.

Nathan had a musical upbringing - his mother was a music teacher!

He has been used to singing in public from a young age - his first performance was when he was just six!

Nathan went to the world-famous Sylvia Young theatre school.

His favourite colour is green.

Nathan also once won a talent contest, singing Mack the Knife.

He wanted to represent Britain in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but sadly only came third in the qualifying round.

Nathan had to drop out of the band’s US tour because of emergency throat surgery. There was a great deal of concern over the condition of his vocal chords, and the band even seriously discussed what they would do if he was unable to return.
